Games Overview & Activities

The Friendship Games will take place from 13-18 July 2025. The Games aim to connect our International and Australian youth, to share and celebrate their respective cultures and build friendships through sport. Our organisational values are Friendship, Respect and Diversity.

The Friendship Games is a multisport, cultural and educational event with 10 targeted sports and approximately 3,600 participants from International, Perth metropolitan and Western Australian and Northern Territory regional youth aged 15-18 years of age.

An opening and closing ceremony, cultural, educational and social activities and venue activations will provide a once in a lifetime opportunity for all our participants to connect and expand their horizons. across the six (6) days of competition and activities.

Sports include AFL, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Netball, Soccer, Table Tennis, Volleyball and Water Polo. Participants will compete in their chosen sport until approximately 1pm and will be played at some of Perth’s premier sporting Stadiums.

Our International and Scholarship participants will take part in cultural, social and educational (university visitations) activities in the afternoon through until 5pm.
