The Friendship Games welcomes volunteers who are committed to acting responsibly and are accountable for their actions, respecting our values of Friendship, Respect and Diversity.

There are a number of roles that are available for our volunteers designed to be fulfilling and contribute to the success of the Friendship Games and our purpose and objectives.

Anyone 18+ can apply to become a volunteer! There are no age limits to volunteering with the Friendship Games, however all volunteers must be physically capable of carrying out their role. All applicants must have a current Western Australian Working with Children Check and a National Police Clearance is optional.

  • Complimentary meals and refreshments during the event.

  • A certificate of appreciation for your time and support.

  • Opportunity to network with sports professionals and Games organisers.

  • Gain experience in event coordination and sports operations.

Volunteers are expected to commit to a minimum of 5 hours of service.

Shifts may vary depending on the role but will generally fall between 8.00am – 5.00pm between 13 July 2025 – 18 July 2025.

Please indicate your availability when signing up.

All registered volunteers will be required to undergo a screening process and that a volunteer role will not be automatically offered. The screening process will include a character reference check and confirmation of a current WWCC.

Volunteer Induction

Once you register to volunteer with us, you will be given an induction before starting your role. Your induction will cover health and safety information,  guidelines on conduct, and cultural awareness.
